2018

2018. Aug, 20, The Tundra is melting and the consequence is upon us. The Pleistocene Park work has been featured in theNatioan Geopgralphic News!

May-June-September, 2018: We are preparing logistics to ship bison from Alaska to the Pleictocene Park in Cherskiy using theIndiegogo-raised funds.

April, 16, 2018: We have lauched a campaign on indiegogo Fly bison to save the planet and to raise funds for a bigger plane. If you are not able to donate via indiegogo, just click the donate button!

April 2018: The bison has been purchased in Delta Junction, Alaska and are currently on mandatory quarantine. It appears that our cargo company who initially agreed to fly the bison to the Pleistocene Park stopped operating medium cargo planes. We are in trouble, as most of the cargo planes available in Alaska are gaz powered, whereas this fuel is not supplied to the Anadyr or Pevek airports. We need a bigger plane! May, 25. First animals (Yaks) were purchased and are on the way to the Arctic!

June, 3. The Yaks arrive to the Pleistocene Park. These are the first Yaks in the Arctic in the past 12,000 years.

June, 7. Two female Yaks gave births to two calves.

August, 28. The Bison experiment at Bryn Athyn College completed.
